About Me and the Animals

The following was written for The Corning Leader Newspaper's "Women in Business" article about me and my business adventure with the animals.

Hospetality Lodge & Pet Pantry, www.countryhospetality.com, was created as a place catering to dogs in a loving, stress free, green eco-friendly, home-style facility. Our 92 acre home is a pristine location for a doggie cage free boarding & daycare camp, worth the ride to the countryside.  We specialize in doggie socialization, safe group play, geriatric & puppy care. We also handle dogs individually. I have brought my lifetime love of animals with the desire to provide the best boarding care for animals together with whole health and wellness care. 

Whispering Wolf, www.whisperingwolfe.com, is my new business offering services at Country Hospetality Lodge or in-home.  It includes the wellness products of my Pet Pantry’s holistic food store along with training, healing, nutritional, hospice animal care support, End of Life (loss & grief) consultations and services.  My work is complimentary to any of your veterinarian care*.  My code of ethics supports and seeks alliances within the veterinary community, inquires welcome.  I am more then happy to work with you and your veterinarian.

My business has given me the best apprenticeship in observing raw dog behavior as well as playgroup and pack behavior. In 2007, I attended Animal Behavior College and graduated from the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training & Behavior in 2009.    Emotional & physical* issues can cause behavior and/or health issues. The art & sciences of natural health can help animals by addressing them holistically through “whole” animal care, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. This year I became an Animal Reiki & Healing Touch For Animals® practitioner with studies continuing in Animal Communication, Loss & Grief & Energetic Healing modalities.

I'm most fulfilled by my ability to educate and enlighten owners & animals be it horses, birds, cats or dogs.  I believe the animals are equal partners in training, behavior changes, healing processes & in transitioning.  Credit is given to all my teachers & clients, both human and animal, which have blessed me with accepting my heart knowing intuition & listening skills to build better human-animal bonds.  Thank you for your trust and partnership in making this world better for our fur angels.
